(Even the black bears think so! A friendly neighbor has been spotted rambling around our property, probably checking out our awesome nightlife!) 

We have so many great promotions going on, but you just gotta come in to learn about them all. Here are a few to whet your appetite!

Bonfires!

Every Friday night, we’ll be lighting a bonfire down on the beach, right on the river. Come enjoy a summer tradition by the fire, sipping a cocktail and comfortably seated in a beautifully landscaped area. (Enjoy all the fun without all the work and dirt of collecting wood, building a fire and keeping it burning … nevermind the cocktail mixing!)

We have been working hard working on a new, exciting menu. Starting July 1, you gotta come in and try one of our new specialties and upgraded favorites. Which Molly’s Tavern & Restaurant menu item can you absolutely not live without?

Live Entertainment!

Every Friday and Saturday night, Molly’s Tavern and Restaurant has live music offered on both sides of the property! Depending on your mood, you can enjoy live entertainment in either the tavern and restaurant (or both!). The deck is open, the entertainment is rockin’, the drinks are flowin’ …. And everything is bloomin’ at J’s Tavern!

We’ve been trying out some new entertainment, developing a new cocktail menu, designing new menu items, and even looking for some news ways to get the word out about the best kept secret in Milford. Hopefully, all of you are as excited about the new elements at J’s … and cherish the traditions as well!

Keep an eye out for information about our soon-to-be-new cocktail and food menu … we are planning on a launch party to celebrate these great features in style!

Hanover Street Has It All

Small Business Week has become a pretty important week in Manchester. Not only does the City of Manchester, Intown Manchester and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce all promote this special week to appreciate and support the local small businesses, but Mayor Gatsas also hosts a Small Business Awards Breakfast to recognize small businesses who have shown growth in sales, market share, employment, exports or other similar factors. We are so proud to share that Ignite Bar & Grille was selected as a finalist for the Mayor’s Small Business Awards in the Growth Award category! Our entire team is honored to receive a nomination for this prestigious award because we know just how many small businesses thrive in the Greater Manchester area. So thank you for keeping us in your minds and hearts!

On May 30th, Ignite Bar & Grille (along with its sister restaurants Hooked Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar, Molly’s Tavern and The Rouge Grille) set up under the tents right on Hanover Street to serve delicious food for the Palace Theatre’s 6th Annual Wine Tasting and Auction Event. On every Friday and Saturday night July 5th through Labor Day, come enjoy extra outdoor seating for dinner, cocktails and fun right on Hanover Street! On these nights, lower Hanover will be closed for extended outdoor seating for the second year. Make plans to join us … summer weekends are going to run out fast!

Lobsters, Oysters and Fritters – Oh My!

Summer has arrived. Aaaaahhhh … the warm temperatures, outdoor seating and fresh seafood. What else could you ask for? This is what life in New England is all about!

Although we love all our seafood dishes equally, our customer favorites lately seem to revolve around two menu standards: lobster and oysters. Both items are available as part of our Raw Bar Medley (the biggest collection of raw bar delicacies in the Greater Manchester area!), but you can also enjoy a steamed whole lobster or as a featured ingredient in lobster ravioli or lobster mac and cheese. Which dish is your favorite at Hooked Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar?

In addition to these delicious, fresh items on our menu, Hooked Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar is now making our own Sea Conch Fritters. A island blend of sea conch, herbs and spices, our Sea Conch Fritters are deep fried and served with a side of a spicy chipotle sauce. You simply have to stop by and try them – they are truly a gift from the sea!

The Rouge Grille is heating up for summer!

All of these great reasons to visit but we have one more! Every time you dine in the month of June, you can donate $1.00 toward American Cancer Society. Then, on June 30th, The Rouge Grille will open our doors on a Sunday to host a fundraising dinner to help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Come in for dinner anytime starting at 6pm and we’ll donate 10% percent of food sales directly to the American Cancer Society!

Summer Eating

With the weather finally turning warm, Midtown Cafe at the Beacon has just what you are looking for delicious summer eating! Each day, we are featuring a Salad of the Day with all the freshest ingredients. This one is one of most recent creations: grilled teriyaki chicken, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh greens. Served with homemade honey balsamic dijon dressing. Healthy and delicious!

Don’t have time for a meal? We always have fruit smoothies on the menu that are great when you are on the run. And you can add a protein shake for just $1.00 to make your fruit smoothie into a real meal deal!

And don’t forget, with the great summer days comes outdoor seating! Elm Street is the perfect spot to sit and relax, enjoy the summer temperatures and of course, people watch … What’s the most interesting thing you’ve spotted from our patio tables?

Moms, Motorcycles and More

Molly’s Tavern will be hosting our Mother’s Day Buffet from 10:00am-3:00pm. Guests 12 and up are $18.00, ages 6-11 are $10.00 and kids 5 and under are free. After 3:00pm, come into the restaurant to enjoy our regular menu up until 9:00pm. Call now to make reservations for the buffet or dinner – don’t miss out on showing the special mom in your life how much you appreciate her!

Does mom have other plans on Sunday? Pick up a gift card any day this week during business hours so mom can come in and enjoy a night out!

Are you motoring? In case you are out cruising around on your motorcycle this weekend, bikers are always welcome at Molly’s! We were excited to participate in a bike run on April 28th to benefit The One Fund Boston, Inc. Our crew loved having these 120 bikers visit our location and we are looking forward to a few more bike runs in the coming months!

Our brunch will feature a variety of culinary treasures, including an omelette station, two carving stations, mussels and even a customer-favorite “The Nest” from Ignite Bar & Grille. And to enjoy our inaugural Mother’s Day Brunch, we have pricing almost as nice as the special mom in your life: adults are $18.00, children under 12 are $10, and children under 5 are *free*.
